The Knotty Boy Cooling Spray has a strong peppermint/Menthol scent that it leaves behind in your dreads.

Residue:

It leaves a slippery residue behind on the hair. For this reason we do not recommend this product on new dreads, because it could loosen new dreads significantly.

When you first spray it on your scalp your scalp feels tingly for a minute while the product dries. It provides partial relief from itches but as soon as it dries your scalp is itchy again.

Comments:
Knotty Boy Cooling Spray has a strong peppermint scent that it leaves behind so if you really like peppermint this ones for you. It has a great deal of menthol in it so it smells medicinal. Do not use this product after scratching an itchy scalp because the areas that were scratched will all burn uncomfortably until the product dries.
