Can I use elastics?

What will the rubber band do at the end of the dread? And how long should you keep it there?

Can I use elastics?

Elastics are great for silky dreads they help hold them together at the tips.

The rubber band is used to hold the dread together.

Can I trim my dreads? How do I do it?

I don't recommend it with this method because they are kind of a pain to put back together once they are taken apart, and they only last about a month and you can put them in shorter the next time you put them in.

Not with the silky dreads method. Just take apart the twisted hair and undo the braid.

I have loose hair on the tips of my dreads, is there any way I can dread it?

You can wrap it around the rest of the dread and add a little wax to hold the loose hair to the silky dread.
